International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. International Women’s Day is a day for everyone.
At EMMAA we are proud to say that we are committed to forging standards that will pave the way to ensure safety and equality for all fighters.
The world expects equality and inclusion. The EMMAA strives to uphold these values, and through education and governance, we are making the sport of MMA a safe and welcoming place for all athletes.
This year International Women’s Day calls for us all to step up and be aware of the significant impact that bias has on women’s equality. We need to recognise it and call it out. We need to #BreakTheBias.
At the EMMAA, we will help to #BreakTheBias by recognising and celebrating the valuable contribution women make to the sport of MMA.
