The EMMAA hosted another successful youth training day, this time at TFT MMA, Sunderland.

Once again, the purpose of the session was to gather the team to learn and train together.

TFT head coach Andrew Fisher described the day:

“I thought the day went really well. There were kids who are already selected for the team and kids who are working towards it. The day was divided into 3 groups and each coach took a group and then we alternated. I worked on basic stuff against the cage. Lee Bown worked on grappling and Mark Spencer went through the IMMAF grading syllabus with everyone.”

The EMMAA Youth team is only getting stronger. We are constantly receiving messages from parents keen to get their kids involved.

Following the previous youth training day, EMMAA President Marc Goddard commented:

“it’s great to see the progress of the youth squad and how well everyone interacted over the session. These youngsters are the future of the Sport and the team at EMMAA will continue to support them every step of the way.“

If you know a young person who would like to get involved, drop us a message for more info.

Thanks to TFT for hosting 🙏
